Guided Wellness Changes CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to enhancing physical wellbeing and fitness across our community. We exist to deliver inclusive, high-quality activity programmes that support people of all ages and abilities to lead healthier, more active lives. Our activities are designed to promote physical fitness, boost confidence, and improve overall wellbeing through structured movement and supportive coaching.

We deliver high-quality activity programmes designed for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, whether they are beginning their fitness journey, returning after time away from exercise, or looking to maintain an active lifestyle. Through professionally guided sessions, we help participants build strength, improve mobility, increase confidence, and develop lasting habits that contribute to long-term health and wellbeing.

Our approach goes beyond traditional fitness delivery. We recognise that physical health is closely connected to mental and emotional wellbeing, social connection, and overall quality of life. By fostering welcoming and encouraging spaces, we empower people to move more, feel better, and take proactive steps toward improving their health.

Guided Wellness Changes CIC operates across County Durham, Sunderland, and the wider North East region, delivering community-based fitness and wellbeing programmes that are accessible and responsive to local need. A key strength of our approach is flexibility, we can bring our services directly to community venues, workplaces, schools, and local groups, reducing barriers to participation and making it easier for individuals to engage in positive health activity.

Our mission is to connect with and empower individuals who believe fitness and good health are out of reach, guiding them to overcome the obstacles standing in their way.

What Do We Do?

1. Community Fitness Sessions
We deliver regular fitness classes, from outdoor bootcamps and cardio circuits to strength & conditioning sessions, designed to improve cardiovascular health, functional strength, mobility, and confidence in movement.

2. Tailored Wellbeing Programmes
Our team supports individuals with personalised fitness guidance, helping participants set and achieve realistic goals that align with their health and lifestyle aspirations.

3. Outdoor Active Events
We host free and group-based outdoor exercise meetups and wellbeing walks to promote active lifestyles in friendly and motivating environments.

4. Inclusive Participation
All activities are structured to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming those new to fitness alongside seasoned participants. We adapt sessions based on ability and aim to build confidence as well as fitness.
